Unsilent Heart (Restless Heart)

Unruhig Herz by Schiller

Schlaf nun, o schlaf nun,
du mein unruhig herz!
eine stimme schreit "schlaf nun"
mir tief in das herz.
vorm tor steht der winter
und schreit sein begehr.
o schlaf, denn der winter,
er schreit dir "schlaf nicht mehr!"
mein kuss geb dir frieden
und ruhe ins herz -
schlaf denn in frieden,
du mein unruhig herz

Yeah... I know... it's kinda EMO. But, whatever....

What did ya think I was gonna do? Goth?

Sheesh!

Guy Fawkes Day #GuyFawkes

My, my, my!

I do believe I HAVE been up to all sorts of pleasure-seeking, to wickedness, to any number of things! ...perhaps sluthing, and snooping, and anything else that suits me fancy! Mischief!

Why... there was the sinful wrath, luxurious vanity & frivolity, tricking & the treating, on All Hallows Eve... then, the Feasting of All Hallows... All Saints Day...

Wicked dancing...

And, now This!

C'mon baby, light my fire!

Gypsy Dance

Are those whom are willing to be free wicked?
Or....
Are those willing to convince all to conform the truly wicked????

'Tis human to group,
'Tis human to be merry,
'Tis human to bond with others....

And yet....

'Tis also human to strive and seek greater freedom,
And express individuality!

Does yer heart not long to be free?

Sonnet 29

SONNET 29

By William Shakespeare (allegedly)

When, in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate

Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;

Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising,

From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;

For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings,
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.
